The robots that interest me the most are self-driving cars because it combines all of the above, but I have also done a lot of work simulation serial robots like robotic arms. Robotic design roles seem limited in industry, so I was thinking of pivoting more towards software or electrical engineering. So far, I have gotten into most programs I applied to. I was accepted to UPenn's ROBO program, Berkeley's MEng program for control of robotic and autonomous systems, Georgia tech's mechanical engineering robotics program, and UCI's accelerated masters (my alma mater, so not ideal but was my safety). I also applied to UMich Anne Arbor robotics program (I think I will get accepted here) and Stanford (I am unsure about this one, but hopefully accepted! ). Many of these are top schools, however the cost is substantial for some. The UPenn program looks great, however I have 0 funding whatsoever and tuition is massive. I would come out $100k-$125k in debt most likely, which is far from ideal. I have no debt from undergrad.
